I have just read the principle of portability of software applications.
and when I tried to do it I found CAMEYO specialized in the matter.
So I downloaded the trial version of Cameyo two days ago on the official website.
I managed to make my application portable and I am facing a security problem:
let me explain:
I copied my newly created portable application to a machine with a "SmaDav" antivirus.
the antivirus scan my usb key that contained my portable application and result: no virus found!
When I run my portable application: the antivirus blocks the execution and signals the presence of malicious software and automatically removes my portable application.
I tried the operation with two computers, but unfortunately it is the same result, both antivirus reports the presence of malicious software at the time of execution of my portable application.
So I do not understand what's going on ???
My computer does not contain a virus is on!
Something else:
to create my portable application I had to create a virtual machine (hyper-V) on which
- I installed a windows 10 system.
- I copy the top Cameyo_trial.exe.
Please what would someone have encountered this problem and what is the problem?
is the camware evaluation version really contains malicious scripts?
If you downloaded cameyo.exe from the official website, cameyo.com, then you can be sure that our packager has no malware in it. Some antivirus programs flag Cameyo packages, including cameyo.exe, with false positives because virtualization behavior is different from typical software.
For peace of mind, you can submit the package you built to your antivirus for a thorough analysis.
We suggest reporting false positives directly to antivirus companies that are aggressive with Cameyo packages. Most companies have a website to submit samples. Other users have had success with getting antivirus software to stop removing Cameyo apps.
You can also work with the administrator or someone in the IT department to whitelist approved apps.
