So, what's the deal with GIMP and Paint.NET? GIMP doesn't start, gives an error instead.
While Paint.NET requires admin rights, and probably doesn't even have the .NET framework installed already.
Admin rights is an issue when it comes to Cameo Player. You just can't get past it. I'm pretty sure many other people are having this issue as well.
Also tried running Dolphin (the emulator) and the interface works, but launching something requires either Direct3D or OpenGL, which neither can be found in the virtualized remote system. But, if I think I'm right, even if it did find D3D and OGL, the emulator would just crash right after loading.
Paint.net should run without issue on any PC Windows 10 and above. Windows 10 has .net 4.5 included. If not, you can get the components needed by capturing it with Cameyo in a virtual machine that does not already have these components installed. If you are familiar with Turbo.net, then you can also download dotnet 4.5 from them. turbo.net/hub/microsoft/dotnet and turbo.net/hub/microsoft/dotnet64
As for Dolphin, you just need to put the dlls responsible for directx in the same directory with Dolphin.
