Package updates are causing failure

If I start with a functional package, open it in the editor and simply save without making changes, the app will no longer launch. In fact, any changes I make to a package results in the same error.

vwnt.exe - System Error

The program can't start because vwntoe.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

 

Any idea why this would be happening with any package changes? I was under the impression that updating a package was as simple as replacing the old one with a new version (same app id) and it would update....

Can you send us the package and share us a link. If you prefer your package to remain private, you may pm me the link instead. Otherwise please post it as a comment. Can we also get a link to the installer and any necessary instructions to install the program?

This is not an application that I can share. Even if I could, it will not function outside of our network. I will see if I can get similar results with a different app, then post that. I do not think the app itself is the issue. The .dll reference is part of the Cameyo software, not my app.
