I'm trying to be able to run a program on a RDS server more than one time, at a time.
The issues that made me stumble across your product was that when I run Avaya Communicator more than once on a system the second instance always crashes. I was hoping I could use Cameyo to isolate the program so it with would run in different RDS sessions concurrently.
Are there triggers that I'm missing here that will allow me to do this? When I double click to run my built exe after it's been launched it just goes to the already open exe. How can I have it just attempt to open several copies of the same exe at once?
For sound recording and playing, lag, and all other issues you would think Remote Desktop with a VoIP program would have, this honestly is my last huddle.
So, I would like to run unlimited copies. What I'm wondering is if I'm able to have it generate a random number for -exec#xxxxx.
This was whenever someone launches it it's always a different ID so I don't need a link for each instance I need to run. Is that possible at all or are there other ideas on how to do this?
Oh you mean running a single exe multiple times concurrently on the same pc. Not sure if this is possible with cameyo. Try editing your package and go to files tab, then click the FileSystem Folder in the top right and set folder isolation to Strictly Isolated. Do the same in registry tab, with the Registry entry in the very top right.
ik it is possible with a free program called sandboxie. You can google it. I have the pro version and use it to chain a bunch of dropbox instances to one another so I have as much free storage as I need (provided I have the ram to run all those instances lol). The free version has 3 limitations which are reserved for the pro version: a single sandbox, so only one instance(so you will want the pro version to run unlimited instances); a 5 sec nag screen after 30 days, I think;no automatic sandboxing, meaning you must right click the exe and run in sandbox every time.
