TOPIC: Game is not packaged with the files it installs (seems it needs .dll s), game requires game CD to run (then it works)
The whole game on DVD (.iso weights around 800 MB) installs correctly while "recording" by packkage capturer.
The game package is created correctly, however it weights only 600 MB and does not contain content of the game. When I start to run the game it asks me for game disk.
Error:
"Cannot locate the CD-ROM Please insert correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
When the disk is missing the game shows error above. When the disk is (I tried inserting virtual ISO of the disk) game runs correctly and save changes. Upon restart of the game the canges are correcty loaded (just means that I dont loss game progress). I am storing them at the .exe direcory
My question is: How can I add game files to the game package so it wont ask me for CD/DVD everytime? I tried just adding files, the package file size increases then but the game just dont see it - btw it seems I cannot change folder names in virtualized data. There are some .dll files on the DVD.
I have tried installing game:
- from CD/DVD to deafult path (C:/program f...)
- from copied CD content to deault path
- from copied CD content to other path
