Hi, i have a question regarding the removal and tracing of an app.
I succesfully virtualized an app, when i want to use it on any computer, i just drag it from my usb paste it into the computer doubble click ot amd run it.
Then after im finished using it, i exit the app and delete the icon. My question is, is the app unistalled? Does this virtual app made with cameyo needs uninstalling?
I dont want to leave any traces behind it, is it leaving traces right now?
How do i delete these traces , and if so, how do i uninstall it?
I thought it was enough by deleting the package, however i realised if i copied it again to the pc and open it the past settings where saved.
So right now, even if the install package ais deleted how do i check on traces and how do i delete this or completeley uninstall the app.
I read some instructions on how to remove an app, and it said "filename.cameyo.exe -Remove" although it isnt working, as it show me as the file didnt exist.
Each Cameyo package deploys files as necessary. (The default location for the sandbox is %AppData%\VOS when run from a computer's local HDD. If run from a flash drive, the default location is on the flash drive.) Using the command -Remove will delete these files. Since it seems you are deleting the package itself from the computer, you can use -RemoveSelf to delete the files and the package.
For -Remove to work once a package has been run from a computer's HDD, -Remove has to be run from the computer's hard drive, i.e. running a package from the computer's drive, deleting the package, and running -Remove from the flash drive will not delete the sandbox from the computer.
