I've used Cameyo for a while on my 32-bit Win 7 laptop and it's worked great. I've recently built myself a 64-bit Win 8.1 desktop and am having an issue creating packages.
Below are the specs if it helps:
Windows 8.1 Professoinal, 64-bit Intel Pentium G3258 @ 4.2GHz 250GB Samsung 840 Evo SSD 8GB RAM @ 1866MHz Cameyo version 2.6.1220.0
I've been running -StartCapture, installing the program, then running -EndCapture. However during the post-installation snapshot, after a while Packager64.exe crashes. Just before it crashes, its RAM usage will spike to just over 2GB (see attached) - but this shouldn't be an issue since there's still several GB free.
Looking at the AppPackager log file, it seems to have completed scanning files and has moved onto the registry. At first, the log always ended at one particular registry entry, so I thought that entry was the problem and deleted it. However, at my next attempt the log file ended at what was the penultimate registry entry. Deleting that one, it moves back one again... This makes me think it actually completes its scan of the registry and crashes when it moves onto whatever the 'next step' would be in the packaging process.
I've attached a screenshot of the event viewer error. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Alex
