I've made some test with Firefox 24 ESR this is the maximum i can go with our Oracle suite bundle with Java 1.7U10.

With VMware ThinApp it work great, i'm trying to do the same thing with Cameyo i cannot.

On the physical computer i have JAVA 1.7U51

When i package firefox and java 1.7u10 with Cameyo, my firefox use both java plugins, see screenshot Firefox_with_cameyo.jpg

When i do the same thing with VMware ThinApp 5, my firefox use only java plugins 1.7u10, see Firefox_with_thinapp.jpg

 

I got two questions;

how to exclude the java plugins 1.7u51 from Firefox and my cameyo package to leave only the version 1.7u10 of java ?

how to exclude all plugins from Firefox to leave only the version 1.7u10 of java ?

Hello Rogerparent,

I have been troubleshooting this for a week and a half now but have come up with no workaround so far.  I thought this was fixed with v2.5 but it seems it works only with XP.  I have forwarded it to the development team.  Someone from the team will post here when there is a solution.
