I am not sure the purpose of Download button on extreme left corner of the application streaming site.
Every virtual application has its own download button for downloading the application.
Not sure what is the purpose of this button at left top corner. Kindly find the attached snapshot. Looks to redundant to me.

The Download button to which you refer allows for downloading multiple packages in one .zip file. You can select packages by activating the checkmark in the bottom right corner of each app listing.
