I have a situation where I have tried to install some downloads and after a couple of minutes, I began getting error messages on uTorrent for torrents that had already been completed and were seeding, saying a file could not be found on the system. This happened several times, and at first I just removed the torrent (the actual downloaded file was and is still in place).
So at that point I opened the Cameyo .exe and got the following message: Could not execute C:\Program Files\Cameyo\Packager.exe (Error=2,MyPID=6592).
At the moment, both versions I have of uTorrent (1.8.2 and 2.2.1) are not working and neither is Cameyo.
Is there anyone on the Forum that can help me please. I'm at a complete loss to know what to do and, indeed, how this has happened.
Please upload a zip file of your Cameyo folder to a file-hosting site and provide the url, or you can use WeTransfer, send to yourself, and post a link.
The location of the Cameyo folder to which I'm referring should be %AppData%\VOS.
Things are still the same at this end. I wondered if there is a way of removing Cameyo (files, folders etc) and installing a fresh version. I might give up on uTorrent and try something else!
Thanks for your patience while we investigated what went wrong to make Cameyo behave the way it did. Your upload was helpful, but unfortunately, our picture is still incomplete.
Anyway, as far as your present issue is concerned, drag Cameyo to the Command Prompt, add a space and "-Remove" and press the <Enter> key.
After getting a Success message, you should be able to use Cameyo again without error.
I am interested in trying to figure out what happened with your uTorrent package. For now, if you're still getting errors, rescue any files you want to save from the sandbox and then run with -Remove parameter as suggested above. Please be aware that you will lose all files in the sandbox, so it is important that you copy or move any files you wish to keep before using -Remove. This will start you over and the package should work again. If you start encountering the errors again, can you upload the sandbox as you did before? For us to understand, we need the complete sandbox, i.e. without any files removed from it, so I understand if it's difficult to time when have files you don't mind sharing publicly. You could, of course, send me a private message with a link.
