I have created a virtualized application using Cameyo desktop software. However, in the configuration menu of the app there is a sub menu where the location of the resource files used by the app (music score templates, default documents, fonts, etc) is specified. The default locations there point to locations on the host hard drive, whereas in reality these resource files are captured inside the virtual app itself (you can see the files and folders when you edit the app using cameyo). I can grab a copy of these folders and put them there on the host PC and then just point to these folders in the apps configuration, but that will of course cause more space to be taken up, and means the app wont be entirely self contained in the virtualized executable.
Is there any way to get apps to be able to 'see' into the folders inside the virtual app capture so I cant just point the folders locations to the folders which are captured inside the virtualized app? Any other suggestions welcome.
If the folders/files are part of the package, i.e. if you open the virtual app with Package Editor and see the files in the Files tab, the virtual app should see them. Did you build the package on a clean system? Can you upload the package and share the download link? You can send the URL by PM if you do not want it shared publicly.
