In the last few months, several games I tried to capture with Cameyo failed with the same message (screenshot below). Before a few months ago, I never encountered that error message. The file WS2_32.DLL is properly in my system, and the games run OK after I install them, but the Cameyo capture fails with the error message below. Is this a Cameyo problem in that Cameyo does not find a DLL file needed for the Cameyo capture to work? Thanks for your help with this frustrating waste of time to install games that will not work with Cameyo.
I was unable to reproduce the error with My Farm Life from MyPlayCity. I captured on a clean Win7 VM and tested on a clean Win10 1809 VM. Can you provide the following:
steps to reproduce
a link to download your package
a link to download the installer file if different from MyPlayCity
Many thanks for your help by PM. It was my error for thinking Cameyo was the problem, only to discover that using my home computer (instead of a virtual machine) added so much trash to the Cameyo capture that the trash prevented the capture from working OK. I am beginning the long overdue process to climb the learning curve for Virtual Box. Hopefully, using a virtual machine for my future captures will eliminate the occasional problems I have experienced. Thanks again!
