I ran into a issue with the version from http://cameyo.activeboard.com/t62859300/previous-versions/ and Firefox 50.0.2.
No errors during the capture, everything goes as usual. When I start the captured exe, it unpacks also as usual, but then it just stops. No error, no nothing.
I tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions of Firefox.
Is this a known issue, and how to debug/fix if possible?
I ran into a (for me) big problem though: I'm using a password manager which uses a combination of ALT+right mouse click to open a menu for picking the login information.
That does not work anymore in the captured application. No matter what key/click combination I try. Does Cameyo hijack keyboard/mouse combinations?
If so, how can I disable that? I use the password manager a lot, and this issue is so annoying.
Sorry for the late reply. I did some tests because I ran into odd/annoying problems:
With Cameyo 2.7 and FF-45, my entire system freezes up when FF restarts (eg when adding a new plugin), or when opening an external program (like notepad.exe for a txt file). Then I have to hard-reset the PC.
I found a Cameyo 2.0.832 in my backups (which I used to package all programs before without any issues). With that one, FF45 works (even the Alt+mouse shortcut) and does not seem to deadlock on restart, but fails when saving files. It downloads the files up to "a few seconds remaining" and they just hang there forever. The .part files are created, it looks like renaming them fails, even though the target directory is set to full access. Even more strange, if I save a file within the first 20-30 seconds after I started FF, it succeeds.
I'll give the latest Cameyo a try (I'm rather busy atm, so it might take a bit). Can software packaged with different Cameyo versions (2.0, 2.7, 3.1) coexist and run at the same time? It would suck if I had to repack all my programs.
Have newer versions maybe requirements for some Windows updates? I don't have all updates installed because some break software I'm depending on.
