One final issue I have come across. Mac users with a Retina screen run into problems with my application. On startup it maximizes the window. But the window becomes way too big and the users can only see about one-half of the window heightwise. Ok, there is a workaround by the users clicking the maximize button again and then resizing the window manually but it would be better if that wasn't necessary.
