Half-an-hour ago I downloaded FBReader package from Cameyo and as soon as the download was completed an alert was flashed by my Antivirus AVIRA warning me the danger of traces of
'TR/Agent.16159746' and was advised to quarantine it and in case of doubt was advised to contact Avira forum. I did and the opinion was the same. I have been using Cameyo application creator for a long time with great satisfaction but did not downloaded a ready made package. Is it accidental? I am not a computer geek and seek advise from experts forum members. Kindly advise.
It is not unusual for Cameyo packages to be flagged falsely. Whenever a package is identified as infected, it is best to submit the package to the software that flagged it and request it to be analyzed. Whenever security software teams perform full analyses, the packages are found to be clean. By submitting suspicious packages, you help everyone, i.e. yourself, the Cameyo community, Cameyo, users of the security software, and the software that falsely flagged the package.
