I use Serif's MoviePlus X4 video editor (old, but more than enough for me).
Works nicely on my vintage XP 32 bit machine.
Problem: on 64 bits machines, Win 10 & 8.1, even if it installs & runs correctly, it doesen't want to use most present codecs for decoding & encoding video.
Solution: Cameyo.
I packaged on a clean XP32 virtual machine. Installing first the codecs (K-Lite mega, UT Video), then the editor (same package). And now it works as intended everywhere. And has become portable.
