Hi, I have a package that is working fine on the desktop packaged using V2.7.1291.0
It was also working fine in the browser using the HTML5 server with the package sitting in my Dropbox.
The HTML5 copy now gives a registration error 'Component InnovaDSXP2.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid'.
I was playing around with various versions of the package so may have corrupted something.
I have tried uploading the original working package but to no avail, the file and registry settings look right and it was working fine.
I'm not sure if this is an issue with the new V3.x packager, or maybe a -remove on the HTML5 server would fix things?
Also, I don't seem to be able to delete the packages from my Dropbox even when disconnecting from Cameyo?
If you delete packages from Dropbox\Apps\Cameyo, they no longer will be available through Cameyo Online.
The HTML5 Server removes repositories minutes after the user disconnects. Please try your original working package again to see if anything has changed since you encountered the error.
I tried the original working package again and get the same error. The same package on a clean Win7 VM works fine... Is it repackaged using the latest V3.x packager when adding online via Add App?
Note that deleting the package in DropBox was resolved by downloading the DropBox client and deleting from there. There is a delete option in the online version but this would not delete the file for some reason.
Yes, the Play Server does update the virtualization engine. Have you tried creating a new package using the latest build? Does a new package created by Cameyo-3.0.1398 work on your clean Win7 VM?
When I asked if you had tried creating a new package using the latest build, I meant on a clean VM using Cameyo-3.0.1398 to Capture an installation, allowing Packager to take a system snapshot, using the program's installer file to install the software, configure as desired, clicking Install done to build a completely new package, and trying that new package on a clean Win7 VM to see if it works....
Thanks for clarification. Please upload your original working package that was created by Build 1291 to a file-hosting site and provide the url. You can use WeTransfer, send to yourself, and post the link. If the package is something you do not want on a public forum, you can PM me.
I was able to reproduce and narrow down between two build numbers of when it happened. I will have to take this to R & D. Can you provide me with an url to the installer file? by PM, of course.
Please go to our Online Packager and submit your installer file. Choose Online Install and go through the remote packaging process. The resultant package launched for me on the HTML5 server.
I tried the online packager. Destination -> My Dropbox didn't push the package to my Dropbox. Destination -> My Apps led to the 'Connection Error An internal error as occurred within the server...'
I'm working behind a corporate proxy so I suspect this is why this didn't work, let me know if there are any tricks to get round this. I'll try from home later and let you know how I get on. Thanks.

The online installer worked :) Was a fix required on the packager?.. I need to edit the config so that the CHM renders correctly, is it possible to do this online?
I don't know yet the details of why updating the virtualization engine causes the app to fail in this case. I consider it preferable to build a clean new package when practical.
Regarding your question of whether it's possible to edit the config online, I'm not sure you mean whether you can do this during the capture process or after the package has been built....
If you don't require special tools to edit the config, then it can be done before clicking Install done.
