Hi,

I've had my first try packaging an application for invoice verification with Cameyo because my default tool didn't work.

the exe file of this application resides on an UNC fileshare, prerequisites (Visual C++ and Crystal Reports) and SQL Server ODBC connections (system DSN) are installed locally (awful construction, I know).

this package although works pretty well, but only if you have admin permissions on the client. if this application is installed natively, user rights are enough.

Do you know how to fix this problem?

interesting... I've forgotten the error message... sorry about that...

it'says it can't find the ODBC data sources (but as said, it works with admin rights)

Can you test locally instead of going through UNC?

Hi, I've the same problem: I packaged SAGE 50 (accounting program). However, even when ran on a single machine, this programs needs a "connection manager" to be running. This program is part of the package I made, but when started through Cameyo, the service is not running and the GUID says I need to have administrator rights to start using the GIUD. My user IS local admin, and even if the complete Cameyo package is started with the "runas" cmd, the command within the package is not started as administrator it seems.

How can I force Cameyo to use admin right within the package ?
