Cameyo disconnects each time I try and upload a package.

I have a cameyo package of about 175 MB. I've tried uploading it both locally and from dropbox. Each time, I lose connection about halfway through the upload and the package upload fails. I can't even begin to imagine why this fails from a Dropbox server to Cameyo server upload. Changing to my other ISP didn't seem to help either.

Any ideas?

Hello Ian807,

Are you using a Cameyo Free account or do you have a different type of account?

Ian,

We see that you do have a Pro account, so this shouldn't be a restriction issue.
Would it be possible for you to share with us your package? Perhaps there's something specific about this package that causes failure.

Thanks

Alternatively (or in addition), a screenshot of the failure would be great as it would give us more context.
Thanks

I seriously doubt that a screenshot of my browser with an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET message will help.

The cameyo app is about 179 megabytes and is in all other ways, unremarkable. It runs nicely on my Windows 7 system and my Windows Server 2012 virtual machine.

It times out at about 61%, regardless of whether I try and upload from my workstation or dropbox (If my personal internet connection is still involved after I specify a copy from dropbox, I would highly recommend a design review of your web site and how it handles file transfers).

Any ideas?

Regards,

Ian

A screenshot would give us context such as the token ID displayed in the URL and a few more details. We are not trying to be annoying.

Hi,

We managed to guess your account name and found out that the Dropbox link you provided did not contain "?dl=1" which points to the Dropbox HTML page instead of the download directly. We improved this so that it is now added automatically, we invite you to try this now.
Also, beware that your package cannot be played on Cameyo Play, as it simply starts in virtual integration mode.
If you are still encountering issues, please let us know, and preferably with a screenshot.

Regards.
