Package snap on win7 wont run correct on win8 VC++ Redist Problem

Hi,

i created a package on an win7 machine, this will work on an clean win 7 32and 64 bit correct.

The same package will start on win8.1 but some Programm  features are missing on this.

 

What to do ?

 ive found out that when i first install VC++ Redist x86 ... on the new system my app will work correctly.

The probem is that i wont have Admin Rights on the target system.

Is it possible to include the vc++ package into the cameyo file ? (the installer Routine of the Soft will install this , cameyo wont capure it).

 

The app is a CAD Soft called PurgeCAD

Hello Mc_eddy,

Cameyo should capture the installation of Visual C++.  It sounds as if it was already installed on the original system.  Did you use a clean virtual machine to build the package?

Please provide an url where PurgeCAD can be downloaded.  You can PM me if you don't want to post it publicly.
