I have a new problem in my Win 7x64 computer. Two days ago, I captured with the current version of Cameyo an installation of Wise Folder Hider Pro (downloaded from http://www.windowsdeal.com/w/wise-folder-hider-pro-3-2-100-discount/). I then tested the Cameyo capture, and I think there was a problem with it, but I do not remember the details. I uninstalled the program and tried to remove the folder in VOS that the Cameyo capture put there, but it would not remove with the -Remove parameter. I also tried to delete the folder in VOS, but Windows Explorer crashes without removing the folder. I was able to delete the Cameyo capture, and to delete the contents of the folder in VOS with the exceptions of the empty file structure below:
Wise Holder.Cameyo\
CHANGES\
C_
F_
I was able to change the folder names with no problem. I now have the empty structure Bad Folder\CHANGES\x (and \xx), but I cannot delete those empty folders. I right clicked the folders to open Properties and looked at the permissions, but I cannot change them. A message pops up to say the folders inherited permissions and I must stop the inheritance before I can change the folder properties. I also tried System Restore to a week before, but the same folders (with the same names I changed them to today) were still there and still could not be deleted.
My guess is that the folders were given some form of elevated security by the original Cameyo capture. The folders are empty, and probably pose no risk, but I would rather remove them if possible. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!
