I prepared two virtual applications, tightvnc and foxit reader.
Applications created on fully patched clean XP, and run on Windows 7. The Windows 7 machine is a virtual machine, running under VMware fusion on MAC.
Every type I suspend the Windows 7 machine, regardless if the applications are running, I can't start them again. The Windows errors are the same (below)
I need to run '-remove' to reset, which frankly starts to be very frustrating.

1. I understand that your XP VM is clean. Does your Win7 VM have other programs installed on it, particularly security software?
2. Is the version of Foxit Reader 6.1.2.1224?
3. The next time you receive the error with Foxit Reader, please run with -Troubleshoot parameter and email the zip file that is created to cameyo at cameyo dot com.
4. After you have emailed the Troubleshoot log, please use Package Editor to open Foxit Reader package and change Virtualization to Disk Mode. Save or Save as and try running the new package. Do you get the same error after Sleeping? If so, please try -Remove and repeat test to see if error repeats after waking from sleep.
1. My XP is Windows + Panda Cloud AV. W7 machine uses a registered McAfee AV.
The W7 machine is my primary machine, so many others are installed.
2. Yes, I reported Foxit Reader 6.1.2.1224. Yet I don't believe it's relevant, as the SAME behavior is with Mozilla Thunderbird, Firefox, Tight VNC, just name it.
3. using -remove always enabled to tools to run again. In an effort to avoid frequent use of -remove, I checked 'leave no registry traces' which helped some.
yet this caused a new issue: closing any virtual application triggered Windows error (every time it was closed):
