Hello All,

I have an application wrapped in Cameyo.

It is set to use Data Mode and I have checked to make sure that all registry keys are set to isolated.

 

When I run the package on my windows 8, 64 bit machine I get a ton of entries in the registry for mscomctl.ocx references (among others).

When I uninstall the package the references disappear.

 

Of course, the goal is to not modify the registry at all and so I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

Hello Cory,

This sounds like Cameyo 2.0 behavior.  Have you tried packaging with Cameyo 2.5 beta?  Cameyo 2.5 shouldn't write a ton to the registry in Win8.

Yes it looks like everything is under the VOS directory in the registry and 2.5 will limit that.
