I used Cameyo-2.0.834 on a Windows 7 PC to create a virtual app for "PaintTool SAI English Pack v1.1.0 Full" (http://sai.detstwo.com/sai). During installation, I set the installation folder to C:\PaintTool SAI English Pack.

The program must be run as administrator the first time it is run, in order to configure it, so I right-clicked the cameyo.exe package and ran it as administrator, which worked. But after exiting the program, I couldn't get it to run any more, either launching it normally or as administrator. When I tried to "remove" it, I got an error "cannot empty base dir...".

Note: I ended up installing the program without virtualization.

Tried to Sandbox this program using another tool and the sandbox wasn't happy so I can only assume that cameyo ghost program didn't like it neither (Was trying to get you some un-install instructions) Even the xp edition gave some serious errors.

At this point I'd suggest a system scan cause this program seems to have a very bad behavior. On that note some of the extra files in the folders have some interesting texture files.

I'll check to see if I can't virtual pc it to map out the locked keys to get you some help in removing the files... You may need some type of unlocker tool or run in safe mode to clean it.

Shawn: Thanks for checking into it. I will do a system scan (with Avira).

Mule: No, I didn't think to try -Remove as administrator. That's a good suggestion, but I don't think there's any point trying it now, because I ended up installing the program normally in order to get it running.

You're right, it's not a big deal at this point since you don't plan to use the application as a virtual package; however, -Remove as administrator should delete any remaining files in the package's VOS directory and any remaining keys in the registry under Current User\Software\VOS\%AppID%.  If you decide not to -Remove as administrator, the remaining items should cause no conflicts with your system, so again, it's not a big deal.

I did a system scan using Avira Antivirus, and found no viruses. That's reassuring, at least. :)
