I've been testing Cameyo and packaged my own Firefox some time ago. Since then I've added a few plugins and there was a Firefox update too. From what I understand, all those changes happen in the VOS directory and when I delete it, my Firefox will be version I used when I created the package. Right? Can I instruct Cameyo to update the exe with the changes in the VOS directory and save an updated exe?
I've been testing Cameyo 2.0.890 and packaged my own Firefox 23.0.1. The Data storage is under the executable's directory. The Isolation mode is Data mode.
The following steps I performed:
1. I uninstalled Firefox. 2. I started Firefox.cameyo.exe. 3. I open the website https://www.youtube.com/?gl=DE&tab=w1 4. I clicked on the Button "Install Flash" and followed the instructions. 5. After the plugin was working. 6. Exit the program 7. Firefox.cameyo.exe -Repackage 8. Start Firefox.cameyo.new.exe The Flash plugin is missing now. When I open the package with the editor, the registry entries are missing
I was unable to duplicate your experience in an XP VM, i.e. Firefox.cameyo.new.exe retained its registry and Flash worked even after I ran -Remove parameter (as it should).
Please upload your original package to a file-hosting site and provide the link for us to test. This would be the one without the plugin.
