I downloaded Cameyo and installed the first application according to the instructions. After installation of the package, I had to start it and the application asked for the activation key. I put the activation key and the application run properly on the machine.
I then signalled Cameyo that the installation was done, and it generated the .exe file.
When I launched the executable file generated by Cameyo on the machine I used to install the package, it run smoothly. No problem.
But when I launched the same .exe file generated by Cameyo on my laptop, it started but requested again the activation key. I had to put the key or use the package as a trial version for a few days.
Why did Cameyo not record the activation key I used during the software installation? How can I correct this on the .exe file?
Replied by email: some software hide their serial registration info (or link the registration info to one specific machine / hardware ID), so it is not detected by Cameyo (or other software). Regardless, Cameyo is not intended for bypassing software protection anyways, so the best solution is to retype the registration info.
