I hope you don't mind me jumping into this thread but I, too, am new here and am having this problem. I am using the virtual package for Google Talk that I downloaded from the online catalog. I set it to open when I log into Windows, but now instead of opening I receive the message about not reading Virtapp.ini. However, if I immediately click OK and re-launch the program it opens just fine.
I second the problem. At first I think that's only a coincide. It seems that the problem can be addressed by the following ways: 1. simply click the package twice and start again. 2. Use Cameyo package editor to open the package. Don't modify it and then save it. Then start again. 3. Delete the "data" folder which include the VOS
And also, the problem exists most likely in the package created by the latest Cameyo version, and the option "leave no registry trace" chosen.
I am unable to duplicate this. I downloaded Google Talk from the Cameyo Library, put a shortcut in Startup, set to Leave no registry traces, rebooted a couple of times, and each time, Google Talk loads without error.
Does the problem always show up, or is it intermittent?
