Yes, I guess I should have emphasized the "for some time" :) Seriously, the older forum had to be removed at some point so as not to introduce security vulnerabilities to the site itself.
Oh for that I totally agree with you theses days too many securirty holes in way too many applications just look at the latest java issues... as for the old forum no biggie better to start fresh than to carry over the old and redundant articles.
