I have used Cameyo to capture an installation. The original program launches it's self + two services which sit in the task bar, one for settings and the other acts as a server and talks to the main program. When I try to launch the Cameyo created app the main program launches as does the settings service but the server service does not launch.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can look into where the fault is here and find out why this server service is crashing on launch or not launched? Is there a way to open up the app and launch just this part of it to see if it is there at all and where it crashes? I did see a Windows "Socket Exception" error and I have tried turning off the anti virus and firewall. Anything else I can try?

Did you edit your package to Allow system services to be registered on target machine?  It's in the Advance tab of Package Editor.

Thanks I have just had a look and this option is not showing in the advanced tab. Perhaps it is not technically a service? But on the original program there is a server that shows up in the task bar and in the app created this does not start.

I used Cameyo to capture the install on a virtual machine that had never had the program installed before the capture.

Can you share your package and installer file?  WeTransfer is an easy way to do it.  You can PM me the download URL if you do not want to post publicly.

Yes, and I may have something for you to test in the next day or so.  In the meantime, what is the OS of the target machine?

Thank you the target machines would be Windows 7 or Windows 10. I am using Windows 10 myself.
