Script error if HTML help is called
Permalink

Hi all,

If I play one of my apps online in the browser I get the error in the attached image. I don't get this error on a normal installation.

The help chm files are generated by Help & Manual 6. I have another help file from a component used in my app (TChart Editor). This help file doesn't cause such a script error.

In all cases the contents of the HTML help doesn't show included images.

Thanks, Rolf

This error also occurs when I run the package not in the browser but directly under Windows.

So, there must be a problem with the package and some code in the chm files because I don't get this script error with the chm file of TChart editor. But in all cases icons and images are not shown in the help files.

Have you tried forced disk extraction?

Hi Jeff

Thanks for your suggestion.

No, I didn't try it. I have no idea what forced disk extraction is.
I created the package with the online software installer from a setup file built with Inno Setup.

This will make sure the file gets extracted to disk before stuff is launched.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the explanation but it didn't help (I set the property only for the chm files).

At the moment I have no time to try something else. I will do it if I have more time.

Thanks for your help!

Rolf
