Cameyo Studio: The Download at http://www.cameyo.com/download (also known as "Cameyo Application Virtualization" or simply "Cameyo")

Package Editor: The Editor found in Cameyo Studio. This allows you to make modifications to your Virtual App.

Cameyo Player: The Player found in Cameyo Studio. This runs your Virtual Apps on Cameyo's Servers over Remote Desktop Connection.

Virtual App: The program you are trying to portablize. This is called app virtualization.

FAQ

Question: When I try to start the Package Editor I got the following error message: "Could not execute C:\...\PkgEdit.exe (Error=2, MyPID=#####)"

Answer: Please try -Remove parameter, i.e. Cameyo.exe -Remove, and then relaunch after receiving Success message.

Note: This fix also works on any Virtual App that is giving Error Code 2.

Effect: Deletes any changes made to the Virtual App and restores it to a default state.

Question: When trying to portablize your virtual app, you receive the following error: "Failed: Capture failed with error -1073741819"

Answer: Please try Cameyo.exe -Remove, and then try again after receiving the Success message.

 

Question: How can I change where my Virtual app stores it's application data?

Answer: Using Cameyo Studio, under the "General" tab, where it says "Data Storage", click "Change".

Question: My Virtual App is or is not using application data from the host computer. How can I change this?

Answer: Using Cameyo Studio, under the "General" tab, where it says "Isolation Mode", select your desired isolation mode.

Question: When trying to edit my Virtual App, I get the following error message: "Failed to open package. API error: FAILURE"

Answer:  Please run your Virtual App with -ProcessList.  If -ProcessList does not work with your Virtual App, please run Cameyo.exe -ProcessList. Use Task Manager to terminate any stuck processes and try again. If this did not work, reboot your computer.

Question: How can I share my Virtual Apps for use on Cameyo's Server via Remote Desktop Connection?

Answer: Please try this beta client: online.cameyo.com/apps/x/clientexe (Where x = ID number of app, e.g. Freemind ID is 635797955875594398)
