GVNotifier not able to package online or locally.

Intersting, not able to create a package of GVN. The obsure instructions to make it portable are located in the FAQ area at http://www.daveamenta.com/products/gvnotifier/. I located the files in C:\Users\test\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Dave Amenta and at C:\Users\test\AppData\Local\GVNotifierWPF if that is helpful.

Hello @glycop and welcome to the forums. I'll try and package you a working version.

Thank you, Jeff. Fascinating, I was able to place the installer package in my 'Cameyo Portable Apps' area and created the 'settings.xml' and ran it from that folder. It seamed to work. Not certain that it is not picking up the previous installation.

Another interesting issue was with Google Chrome. I was able to see the package on my 'Cameyo Online' account, but could not seem to get a local copy created and downloaded because the 'Capture' button was not showing up. I'll do a video of that later and share it with you.

Thank you again for creating Cameyo.

Here you go. Packaged using a Clean Windows 8.1 64 bit Virtual Machine.

p.s. I didn't create Cameyo, just a fellow user like yourself.

Yea, I cannot get chrome to work either. Mule even suggested using the PortableApps.com version, which beats the point of using Cameyo to package it. Besides, I want to run it in Ram Mode, since web pages load many times faster since it is not having to write cache to disc. I ultimately gave up since Mule doesn't seem to have a solution.

Thank you, Jeff. The GVNotifier package works like a charm. Yes, I ended up using the Portable Apps version of Chrome as well. I had forgotten that it existed. My appologies for getting you confused with Mule. Thanks again.

No Problem. Also, not entirely sure who created Cameyo. It might be Mule or it might not be, I don't know.
