Issue with virtualised apps crashing and/or not opening.

Hi Guys,

I have tried creating multiple apps using the free version of Cameyo and capturing the application but unfortunately the apps either do not open or crash.

The apps are -

Driver Genius

Spyhunter

PC Doctor

I have tried to create these packages on multiple PC's all running Windows 10 with very little to no luck.

Can you provide anything else to try? Or is there something I am possibly not doing?

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.

JR

Please use Online Packager to build the apps for you.  Then download the packages to test locally and let us know if the results are the same.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any options for any installs over 50mb? Currently one of the installs are 60mb :(

I believe I have 3.5 NET so I should be OK there, thanks.

@John1711, for installers >50MB, there is Cameyo Pro and self-packaging, of course.  Did the smaller packages built by Online Packager work for you locally?  We should start there.

@KIPILLasa, please start a new topic if your comment does not regard the original poster's issue.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I did try the online packager and it seemed to work although I have only tried it on the one PC.

One thing I will note is I did try and add the license information for the Application before i completed the the packager wizard, but it didn't show registered when I had the package created. Do you know why this would have occurred?

Thanks in advance.

Did the application appear to be registered on the system that created it (Online Packager)?  Some software link registration to the hardware on which they were installed, so if a package is used on a different system, it may run as unregistered.
