Hi,

it is an free encryption software for harddiscs as Truecrypt and Microsofts Bitlocker. I know that there is a portable version of Truecrypt available, but I need a portable version of Diskcryptor for some reasons. Unfortunately Diskcrypt-Containers are not mountable with Truecrypt.

I made an AES-encrypted container with diskcryptor and would like to mount this encrypted drive from USB-Harddisc on other PCs without the need of installing the software.

I also tried to use the command line

cameyo30 -startcapture , then reboot

cameyo30 -endcapture

but this is the same as before as I made the online-transformation. This means that I have to reboot but nothing happens after the reboot. And if I klick the converted EXE again, I always receive the command to reboot the computer again. So it is an endless klicking and rebooting...

Hello Michael,

The package does not work, because Diskcryptor installs a driver.  The virtualization of software that install drivers is generally not supported.  More often than not, when one uses such "portable" programs, the driver is installed to the host system and then uninstalled after the program is exited.

There is a portable Virtualbox available in the Internet. Search for it by google. It works 100%.

The COM error is maybe caused by the Windows UAC! Is the windows user member of the Administrator group? If not, put him to the administrator group.
