How to save created in virtualized app file into real HDD of master PC?

Hello.

I just noticed it is not possible to save created by virtualizad by Cameo app file into real HDD.
I have noticed file is saved somewhere (visible under virtualized app, even if it is colsed and started again).
But on real HDD this saved previously file is missing.

Example - I created project using DesignSpark. I saved project file. But I can't see it on real PC, where cameo virtualizad app was run on.

Please help how to export project from virtual environment into real PC environment.

Thank you and best regards

Mariusz

Hello Mariusz,

By default, Cameyo packages isolate writes to the sandbox except for Documents, Desktop, and network drives.  You should be able to save your project files to any of these locations if you have not edited your package.

Please see this topic, including the link in the second post.

Dear Cameyo Support

Please let me know if this is possible to give full access to portable application created by Cameyo for filesystem (software output files - storage for menu file -> save) and avoid access for modification registry or other Windows files ?

Thank you and best regards

Mariusz

Yes this is possible. See the topic Mule posted above. You will also want to take a look at www.cameyo.com/doc/environment_variables.htm
