Cannot find "install done" using online packager
Permalink

I've been having a bit of trouble using the online packager. Last few apps I couldn't finish because I can't seem to find the "install done" button. One I tried did have an "install done" button. Now, I'm trying to package an app and I can't seem to find it again.

My main browser is Firefox. I tried it with Internet Explorer. Then I installed Chrome thinking maybe the packager had to be run through it (because there's the link that says please install...) but still no "install done."

This is what I see (after closing the install done popup).

The only thing I see after installing

My linked Dropbox isn't showing up under Favorites in Explorer either. I'm quite confused! blankstare

Is the application you are packaging creating a shortcut?  If not, please navigate to the executable you want run when the package is launched and create a shortcut to it.  It does not matter where the shortcut is placed; it can be in the same location as the executable.

I'm very appreciative of your assistance, mule! Worked flawlessly this time.

I actually skipped the browser based online method and used Remote Install Beta from the desktop client. While installing I left the create desktop shortcut option checked, the install done message came up, and I deleted the shortcut! Perfect!

This should be "told" to us and I wasted 1 hour trying to figure this out!!!!!!!!!

And this "assumption" that "new" application should have a "shortcut" is ridiculous!!
