HTML5 + Packaged dosbox = mouse problem

Hello,

First , sorry for my bad English.

I Packaged DosBox + games and everything works very well . I uploaded it on your server. When I try to start DOSBOX Under HTML5 , mouse jump from a corner to another one (seems crazy or VERY sensible).

I tryed some different setting Under DOSBOX and your HTML5 config pannel but I could not find a solution.

Do you have an idea ?

.

Your app is not shared. Can you share it? (Set to Unlisted instead of Private)

You might want to try unplugging any USB devices that aren't necessary and seeing if that changes things.  I had one Cameyo application where a USB joystick was getting interpreted as mouse input and causing chaos.  Any mouse movement and the mouse jumped around randomly very fast.

Here is the link : https://online.cameyo.com/apps/635697459893630361/play

Today I tryed something :

 - I have 2 computers (A and B)

 - Put Cameyo package on computer A

 - Access Computer A with computer B through TIGHVNC (Remote Control Software) and launch Game un local compute (A)

Same problem , mouse seem crazy or very sensible , then I thing problem come from DOSBOX and how it read mouse Position not from HTML5 service or CAMEYO.

If someone have an another idea or could confirm that my idea could be right ?

Thanks.

It seems like a DOS emulation program that also tries to emulate the mouse (back in the DOS days, the mouse had to be natively programmes by Interrupt 33h). So my guess is this is not a good use-case for HTML5.

Thank for you help,

I took a look at INT 33h like you suggest , it give me X and Y in a very little window under dosbox under HTML5  (it is why mouse seems crazy or very very sensible).

I didnt want to lost more time in this way, then I changed DOSBOX by  QEMU for my old games and you know what ? everything work very very well (more powerfull more fast and works well under HTML5

Problem with DOSBOX is not solved due to HTML5<->DOSBOX communication , but a very good alternative was found , then I think you can close this thread.

Have a nice Day (Pascal , France).

Glad to hear. I liked this DOS chess game when I was young (I mean... younger :) ) As far as I know there's no chess games with so much imagination nowadays.
