I have an app - Jing - made with an previous version of Cameyo. I sow today the last Cameyo app "for Windows 8/8.1" and I converted the old Jing.cameyo.exe with the new Cameyo. Well... The new converted one doesn't work on Windows 8.0, the old one (build with Cameyo 2.0...) works in Windows 8.0...
The capability of converting a 2.0 package to 2.5 has been added for convenience, and sometimes the converted package works, but generally, it is recommended to create a new package when wanting to take advantage of features added in a new version number. Cameyo introduced a lot of changes between versions 2.0 and 2.5.
