I am currently evaluating the possibility making a no. of bespoke applications portable, particularly Automation/PLC Software. My question to you is: Why is the loading time of a certain application approx. 3 minutes while others load within 3 seconds?
Is there a setting or configuration which can be applied that will allow the portable app to speed up loading times?
Currently settings are as follows:
Isolation mode = Data mode
No integration
Leave no registry traces(changes saved to a file)
IT should be mentioned that the applications are also installed to a clean XP SP3 VM build, Virtual XP mode, on Windows 7 Pro x64
