How does cameyo know what packages are running / "installed"?

When I create a package for example acrobatReader and put the package on my D drive it works perfect.
But what I don't understand is when I run cameyo itself from my E drive ("Cameyo-2.0.831.exe") it shows "Adobe Acrobat" with an a white play button on it.

I close the acrobatReader (cameyo portabalized version) and the package is setup so it won't delete de VOS directory contents.
And the locatation of the VOS contents for acrobat reader is my D drive (not the default directory).

How can it be that when I boot a seperate instance of cameyo from another location (E drive) it knows what I was running or is running?

Does cameyo save traces in the windows registry so that it at all times knows what was/is running?

Yes, of course it saves traces in the registry.

Ok.

Sorry there was a mis-understanding from my part, I thought it was possible to create a portable app that doesn't leave any traces in the registry.

It seems I have to look for other ways to make "zero-traces in registry" possible (if it is possible...)

Thank you for your feedback!

Well, you can configure your packages to leave "zero traces in registry", using the Package Editor.
