First attempt - packaged CAD viewer not running in W7

I am intreagued by the promises that Cameyo makes. Unfortunately my first attempt did not work straight away. Maybe I am trying too much or I did something wrong.

I want to use the free 3D CAD viewer "STP viewer 2.3" on my company laptop that does not allow any installations.

The DL is available from ideaMK as Freeware on http://stpviewer.com/ (15MB).

I followed the Cameyo's instructions and got a package of some 45MB. Unfortunately I get an error message from the virtual STP viewer saying that STP viewer has stopped working and that Windows is checking for a solution ...

Any ideas - or is a CAD Viewer just too ambitious?

Next I tried the Online Packager.

Apart from generating a smaller file (29MB) it is also malfunctioning.
